Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Stubbs BBQ Dining Experience?
The atmosphere of the famous Stubbs Restaurant is casual, high-energy, and deeply rooted in music history. It feels like a quintessential Texas dive, heavily focused on its identity as a legendary live music venue.
The Vibe: Rustic, soulful, and electric. The walls of the historic brick building are packed with vintage concert posters showcasing the music legends who have played there over the decades.
The Layout: The indoor restaurant features a no-frills, casual dining space with wooden tables and a bar. Outside is the massive Waller Creek Amphitheater—a sloping, dirt-and-gravel “backyard” concert stage shaded by large trees and illuminated by vibrant stage lighting.
The Experience: During the week, it acts as a relaxed spot for locals and tourists to grab a quick bite. On concert nights, the venue transforms into a packed, lively mosh pit under the stars. On Sunday mornings, the venue shifts entirely to host its world-famous Gospel Brunch, featuring loud, uplifting live gospel choirs and an open Southern buffet
What time is hotel check-in?
Official hotel check-in begins at 3:00 PM. If you arrive prior to that time, the hotel will accommodate an early check-in based on room availability. If your room is not yet ready, the front desk will be happy to securely store your luggage until check-in is possible. When you check in, you will be asked to present a credit card for incidental expenses. The PACS master account will cover room and tax.
