Frequently Asked Questions

What time is hotel check-in?

Official hotel check-in begins at 3:00 PM. If you arrive prior to that time, the hotel will accommodate an early check-in based on room availability. If your room is not yet ready, the front desk will be happy to securely store your luggage until check-in is possible. When you check in, you will be asked to present a credit card for incidental expenses. The PACS master account will cover room and tax.

Official check-out is scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Guests are kindly asked to complete check-out by this time.

If you plan to arrive early or stay beyond the event dates, please indicate your additional dates when completing your registration. A special rate of $339 per night is available for up to three days before and three days after the event. These additional nights will be at your own expense and will be charged to the credit card provided at check-in.

You are responsible for booking your own travel to and from the event. Please note that meetings will begin promptly at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, so plan your arrival accordingly. Travel expenses may be charged to your work-issued credit card and will be allocated to your assigned facility or cost center.

Travel expenses for one guest may also be charged to your work-issued credit card. These costs will be billed to the facility or cost center to which you are assigned.

Recommended attire for each day of the event is outlined in the agenda, which can be found here. Please plan casual, business casual, and semi-formal attire.

We recommend using Uber, Lyft, or other similar ride-share services for transportation to and from the hotel. The hotel is located in downtown Chicago and is within walking distance of many local attractions. Any transportation required during the event will be coordinated by the event planning team. Transportation costs may be charged to your work-issued credit card.

If you need to adjust your check-in or check-out dates after registering, please follow the process below:

After September 1, 2025: Please direct all change requests to Debbie Smith at Debbie.smith@pacs.com. All updates will need to be coordinated through her.

Before September 1, 2025, you may make any changes directly through Workday. After September 1, 2025, please send an e-mail to either Debbie Smith (Debbie.smith@pacs.com) with any modifications.

No, the scheduled meetings are intended for employees only. However, guests are welcome to attend the Wednesday morning breakfast, the Cubs game on Wednesday evening, and all scheduled events on Thursday.

Hotel accommodations for the nights of September 23–25 will be covered by the master account. If you choose to arrive earlier or extend your stay beyond these dates, you will be responsible for those additional charges. All guests will be required to provide a credit card at check-in, which will be used to cover any extra nights and incidental charges incurred during your stay.

This year, we’re doing things a little differently. With so many incredible things to see and do in Chicago, we were unable to narrow it down to just a few options! Instead, we’ve provided a list of recommended “must-see” sites and activities. We encourage you to explore the Plan Your Day at Leisure page and select an activity for you and your guest to enjoy on Thursday, September 25. You will be able to book your activity using the links provided. Gift cards will be distributed during the meetings to help cover the cost of your chosen experience.

Infants and young children (babes in arms) are always welcome. Please note that the hotel does not offer on-site babysitting services. However, the hotel can connect guests with preferred third-party providers who offer babysitting and childcare services, upon request.

If you missed the registration deadline, please contact Debbie Smith at debbie.smith@pacs.com or Kell Thorley at kell.thorley@pacs.com. They will be happy to assist you.

You are welcome to bring a guest; however, we ask that your plus one not be an employee of your facility or any other PACS facility or entity—unless they are your spouse or significant other.

The comment section is intended for you to share any special requests related to your hotel room—for example, a room with two queen beds, a crib, or any other accommodations that would help make your stay more comfortable. Please use this space to provide any information you feel we should be aware of in advance.
